Langham sits on Highway 16, about 35 kilometres northwest of Saskatoon. The area was first settled mostly by Mennonites, and the town began in 1904 when a rail line was built between Saskatoon and Edmonton. It was named for E. Langham, a purchasing agent for the Canadian National Railway.
